Artists of our wonderful city unite
Since it states under 'our' mural photo "as Peninsula artists ponder...", I shall ponder:hmmmmm... good idea, but honestly I think if an art image is to be printed anywhere 'all' the Artists names should be listed/mentioned, not just one, ....but that is just me.
I also believe that the White Rock City Council should have also been thanked for allowing us to paint the mural in the first place, paying for the supplies and for paying us a small fee for creating it.
10Sept2007: Written in response to the letter published Friday Sept 7, 2007 entitled "Artists of our wonderful city unite".
White Rock has always been an Art community with our theatre, fairs, painted fences and markets, etc.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the White Rock City Council for allowing us to paint the murals, Matt Todd and all others that had a hand in this wonderful creative event taking place.
It would in fact be great to see more creative life throughout our wonderful area, especially since we will soon be in the shadows of a few high-rises and big box stores.
Grasp your inner creative community soul White Rock, embrace it and let it's colours flow!
