Hi All,I have just added some new items to my online print shop!
You can now order bumper stickers, etc with my two favorite quotes...
Painting Furniture:
Yesterday I ventured off to good ole IKEA to purchase a wooden chair, which I will decorate to match my recently hand painted table (see my last post for a photo).
I also found out today, that an Artist friend of mine has two twin bed frames (with funky posts) which she is giving away. If I can manage to find someone to pick one up for me... I would love to be able to paint it as well.
For my painted table, the steps I followed were:
- sanding it down with my mouse sander
- base coating the surface with Gesso
- Attacking it lovingly with my paintbrush and many complimentary colours
- sealing the artwork with 5 coats of varnish.
