Using what you know...
Yesterday I invited my friend Violette out for a cup of coffee.We began discussing ways of getting ourselves out there more and promotional images, which in turn brought us to talking about our successful online friend Jelene.
She is great at creating online banners for people, and seems to do a great deal of business on ETSY.com .
I admitted that my banner was in great need of a re-birthing and Violette was also in the process of creating one for her newly opened shop on ETSY.
It seems that we both 'got busy with it' after returning home from out outing.
Here is my ETSY shop, if you would like to take a boo. (I even created a new banner for my Cafepress shop, but it is taking its time uploading.)
It was great catching up with V at coffee yesterday. I got more out of it than I had planned on.
She is so 'on the go' with her artwork these days that her energy rubbed off on me.
My current goals are to:
- create a promotional package
- see what I can do to help my webmaster hubby get my website redesign up and running.
- submit more artwork photos and write-ups to papers, magazines, stores, spas and upscale salons.
- expand on my exposure by working into the global rather than just the local.
- work on my girls, by practicing on hands, legs, feet, etc.
- paint on more furniture.
- get in a fashion show with my functional artwork (jackets, pants, shoes, handbags, etc)
- create more wall and door murals.
- organize a high quality, unique craft Artisan show for this coming November.
