Creating a display for local 'Artists Window'What to do when you have a toddler in tow ... negotiate!
I really wanted to get my window display up this morning and not have to wait until tonight to do it.
I waited until 11:30am, went through the local Wendy's drive-though, and bought a kids meal.
While I set my display up, he stayed by my side and enjoyed his little treat meal. I was finished just after he managed to finish off his cheeseburger.
The window may need a few tweaks here and there which I can go back and do.
It turned out that the walls were painted a dark blue and not black as I thought they were. Oh well...
I guess we can't have everything work smoothly all the time (ha ha). At least the dark blue is so dark it almost looks black.
I think I will definitely be taking away the hearts from the bottom of the window d
isplay, as they may come off as being a bit tacky.I might also hang some black fabric behind the paintings so that I do not have to go to all the trouble of painting the walls. We'll see.
I need a second opinion!
