Wow! What a busy week!I am in the process of redesigning my website, calculating wholesale costs for commissioned glassware, displaying at an International Artists Day celebration, attending a film industry charity event and trudging through a pumpkin patch!
All this while trying to get my voice back after fighting the cold and flu bugs. YIKES!
Plus today is the 12 year anniversary of my Dad's passing. (Love you Dad)
During the I.A.D. celebration on Wednesday, Violette let me try out her water colour twinkling H2Os. I LOVE THEM. They have a shimmer that is eye candy for us Glitter Girls. I have been holding off on buying a set, but once I had tried them... I walked across the street and purchased my first set. YEAH!
Last night at the Film Industry event a man asked if Joe Average painted my new jacket (new as of yesterday... although it is still a work in progress...haha).
What a nice compliment... although I do not see the similarity besides the use of bright colours. Joe Average is a well-known local Artist here in Vancouver, BC.
FYI: I had donated two art peices to the film industry charity event (as seen in the glass display case).
