The Mermaids Are Coming!....The Mermaids Are Coming !!!
Well the clock is ticking nearer and the Spirit of the Sea Festival is almost upon us!
Here are a couple images of some of the armband / wrist cuff / bracelets which will be available for purchase tomorrow at the White Rock Beach (near the pier).
There is also an image of the 'wonderful' t-shirt I painted yesterday to wear tomorrow.
It is so 'wonderful' that it wasted 4 hours of my day yesterday.
I was nearing completion while my son had his afternoon nap... when all of a sudden the container of blue paint decided to jump up off the tv table do two summersaults in the air and proceed to land upside down on my livingroom carpet.
I know.. I know.. what the heck was I thinking 'painting in the livingroom?'.
I am still asking myself that question.
Of course it had to be fabric paint and was adhering quite well to the carpet fibres.
One bottle of carpet cleaner and one roll of paper towel later (along with 4 hours of my time spent scrubbing) you can hardly tell what took place yesterday.
