Mardi Gras!
In the Spirit of Fat Tuesday & My Mom's 60th Birthday. we had quite the party last night.
I decorated the room up to mimic Mardi Gras.
We had the beads, confetti, decor, shrimp gumbo and a Hurricane punch.
A lot of fun was had by all and I am still very tired!
All my Mom knew was that there was a party for her & that she was to wear something with purple in it.
She was greeted at the door with her Tiara (made by yours truly) & Mardi Gras beads.
A great time was had by all.
One of my favorite art fans showed up wearing one of the jackets I made for her over a couple of years ago. She is so cute!
However, she is started to grow out of her jacket. I will have to keep my eyes open for a new one to paint for her.
She advised me that she wouldn't mind having a pair of jeans embelished this time.
She is so fun to paint for, as we mostly have young men in our family.
Any hoo... have a great night & I'll post again soon. I have to start painting my 'Semi Salmon', tomorrow night for our local Rotary Club charity.
FYI: I did not post more of the party photos, as I forgot to ask people permission to post their images on my website.
