Ode to the Computer Guru......my hubby !
We had major malfunctions last week after we added additional RAM to the computer. In the end after feeling majorally detached from the 'linked' & wired world, it turned out that all we needed was more voltage to support the added memory space.
I have been working on a couple of commision pieces lately & was able to finish them this last week.
Forgive me for the small size of the images, however I have not been able to get them to the clients this week.
Once they have seen the work, I will post larger images for you all to see.
One is a new friends beautiful daughter on one of my cushion covers & the other one is of Betty Boop at Marilyn Monroe for a family member on her denim jean jacket.

It was such a wonderful day of sunshine today after more than 24 days of straight rain here on the West Coast. (ha ha)
Oh, Oh, Oh....!!!! .... I finished my SHOES!!!
At first I thought..."there is now way I can wear these, I am a 'painted coat kinda girl'" (but after having watched many 'What Not To Wear' episodes I realize painted jackets are not the most flattering, especially on a 'more curves that any woman should have' lady)! I tried them on yesterday at the insistance of my Mother & they actually look pretty cool on. I may keep them after all. Sorry eBay fans, but unless you see them here and offer me a decent offer, these babies will be going on a holiday to Mexico with me soon.
As for the painted jackets, I have done fully painted denim jackets for my healthy sized clients and they look fabulous on them. I guess I will just have to get skinny in 2006. Here's to being able to wear SEXY clothes this summer !!!!!
