HaNd PaInTeD cOfFeE mUgS !Hello all! The other night, I ventured out into the snow with all my glass and ceramic paints and a couple of white mugs to my friend Violette's Magical Cottage(house).
She supplied the wine and appies and I supplied the paints. We had a great visit while sitting their embellishing our mugs, munching on gourmet olives and sipping our wine.
However, once I returned home I realized my error .... I forgot to tell the GLITTER GURU that I actually had glitter paint for her to use on her mug!!!!
While painting my mugs, I slightly changed my regular 'Opera' flower (see canvas page) by moving the eyes to the outside edges of the flowers head and closing it's mouth into a 'smirk' line.
I have been transfixed now on painting a flower bed of coffee mugs. Maybe it has something to do with it being cold and all white outside right now, that I had to bring back a strong force of colour to the world. Who knows?!?
I have posted a few pictures of the 12 work in mid-progress mugs. I still need to do a bit more outlining and accents with the black.
