Circle Craft booth display/design:I think we finally have it figured out!!!! (Thanks to friends and family sharing their suggestions last Monday)
My friend Julia suggested suspending poles between the two shelving units and hanging cushions (with inserts inside) from the poles. After trying to think of how to use that idea and also be able to showcase small canvases along with the painted cushions, handbags, and jackets....I finally realized that I could turn my grid cubes into a tall grid tower, which can display my small canvases and marble magnets. I plan to suspend 3 poles (at different hights) between the two shelving units and clip the pillows onto the poles using my wooden pant hangers.(FYI: the BOOTH will be 5' deep x 10' wide x 8' high. Each side and back will be flanked by white material supplied by the show 5'x10'x8'. The SHELF units are 1.5'deep x 3' wide x 6' high.)
This picture I just took of the side set-up with the one set of shelves and the cube tower. The work will be displayed differently, as this was just to get an idea of what I am thinking of. The work in this picture isn't completed yet and is just displayed as is to keep it all in one place as I do my work.
I still have 50 more cushion covers to pick up from my seamstress to begin painting ASAP.
Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions. I look forward to hearing them.
Here is a picture of my little guy at his birthday party last Monday. What a cutie!!
All the little kids ended up with blue faces from the icing. I tried to take a picture of each one before they had their faces washed, but some of the Moms were to quick for me.
keep smiling & creating!
