Street Banners
There is a beautification project taking place in Up-town White Rock this year. One part of the project is having street banners painted by local artists of all ages displayed along old Johnston Road.
When I heard of this project, all the banners had already been spoken for. To my luck/advantage...it turns out someone was unable to paint theirs & turned it back in to the office today. They phoned me to see if I was still interested in painting one & if I could have it done in a week, as they would like me to paint it.
I am thrilled!!!!!
I do not know how big it is yet, but I'm sure it is of a decent size so as to be noticed hanging from the light poles.
