Gallery Show & a Wedding,
(These are a couple of the smaller pieces I will have in the show)
I am deep in the throws of getting ready for my first gallery show and a fabulous night out at a friends wedding.
I am in the process of putting the final touches on my pieces for the show while at the same time I am painting a divinely fun cotton jacket to wear at the wedding.
Once the jacket is complete, I will post a picture. Actually maybe I can have someone take a pic of me wearing it at the wedding & then post it. I have a lot of work left to do on it though, and the wedding is this Saturday night.
It wouldn't have been such a time crunch, except that the Gallery show has been extended to two weeks instead of the original one week & we are opening it 5 days earlier than expected. I may have to put my art pieces aside until this Sunday, so that I have a chance at finishing my jacket on time. Should be interesting (ha ha) to say the least.
2005 MAY 02-13, 'GALLERY SHOW' at 'Make it Memorable' 1446A Johnston Road in White Rock, BC, Canada.
I hope that you can stop by and check out the show if you happen to be in the area.
NOTE: Next Saturday (May 7th) from 12 noon until 5pm is when most of the Artists involved in the Gallery Show will be on site (including myself).
